Who are we?

The Friends of the Art Circle Public Library is a non-profit, volunteer organization that works to further the goals of the Public Library.  Together with the Library Director and the Library's Board of Trustees, the Friends foster fellowship among persons interested in books and libraries, support the facilities and services of the library, and enrich cultural opportunities in the community.

Citizens who share these goals are invited to join the Friends and help achieve these objectives.

How did we get started?

In 1984 ten women interested in expanding the library's services and providing more learning opportunities in the community gathered in the library's meeting room to found the Friends of the Art Circle Public Library.  Now more that 300 men and women from all across the county carry out the ideals and hopes of the founders.
