The project represents a major collaborative endeavor in preservation and electronic access to historical texts. The Cornell University Library and the University of Michigan libraries cooperated in the initial phase of MOA, which has been funded by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and The Charles E. Culpepper Foundation.
